The role
As Product and Compliance Manager, you'll own the information behind every Zone3 product and the critical path that gets it to launch. You'll also run sampling and give our Customer Service team the product knowledge they need.
You'll sit at the centre of product development, supply chain, sales, marketing, customer service, and finance. Your job is to get products out on time, backed by accurate data and ready to sell across every channel.
You'll report to the Director of Supply Chain and Operations, and work closely with suppliers, marketplace partners, certification bodies, and system providers.
What you'll do
Run the critical path
- Own the product critical path from concept to launch
- Coordinate internal teams and suppliers so every milestone lands
- Spot delays early and resolve them before they bite
- Keep stakeholders updated on new product development projects
- Get every function ready for launch
Own product information and compliance
- Hold all product data and documentation, accurate and complete across every business system
- Create and maintain product specifications, packaging information, Digital Product Passports (DPPs), compliance documentation, and product certifications
- Meet every regulatory and customer requirement
- Work with suppliers to obtain and validate technical product information
Lead on Bombiix
- Act as business owner and in-house expert for our Bombiix platform
- Protect data integrity and improve the processes around the system
- Train users and support them day to day
- Work with the system provider on enhancements, issues, and future developments

Manage sampling
- Run the sampling process from request to approval
- Coordinate sample production with suppliers and internal teams
- Track sample availability and distribution
- Check samples meet quality, specification, and timing requirements
- Support sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams with what they need
Support product development
- Create product and packaging tech packs
- Support development across the product lifecycle, from new introductions to improvements on existing lines
- Work with suppliers on specifications, improvements, and new ideas
- Help assess cost, quality, and functionality
- With the right experience, take on selected product development or sourcing and workflow activities
Equip Customer Service
- Be the product expert our Customer Service team turns to
- Build product training materials and deliver the sessions
- Support escalations on product-related customer issues
- Spot recurring problems and drive fixes with the right teams
What success looks like
Launches land on time. Product data and compliance documents are right first time. Samples arrive when they're needed, marketplace channels perform, and our Customer Service team knows the range inside out. Over time, product-related customer issues fall and Bombiix becomes a system everyone trusts and uses.

What you'll bring
Essential
- Experience in product management, product development, merchandising, or a related commercial role
- Strong project management and organisation, with the ability to run several projects at once
- Experience managing product data and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel
- Adobe and graphic creation skills
- Confident stakeholder management, inside the business and with suppliers
Desirable
- Product development experience
- Experience with Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements
- Knowledge of packaging and product compliance regulations
- Experience with ERP, PIM, or other product information management systems
- Previous ownership of a product lifecycle management system
