Product Compliance Specialist
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
About IMS Euro
IMS Euro is an award-winning supplier of veterinary and animal health products, serving customers across the UK and Europe. As our business continues to grow, we are creating a new Product Compliance Specialist role to strengthen our Quality & Regulatory Affairs function and support an expanding product portfolio.
The Opportunity
This newly created role offers the chance to play a key part in ensuring our products meet applicable legal, safety and quality requirements. Working closely with the Group QARA Manager, you will support product compliance assessments, supplier qualification activities, product onboarding and the ongoing development of our Quality Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product compliance and product safety assessments.
- Review technical files, certificates, declarations and test reports.
- Assess product labelling, packaging and instructions for use.
- Support new product onboarding and supplier qualification activities.
- Maintain compliance records and product documentation.
- Identify compliance risks and support corrective actions.
- Assist in maintaining and improving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Support audits, quality improvement initiatives and compliance reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain and manage compliance documentation.

About You
Essential:
- Experience in Product Compliance, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supplier Quality or a similar role.
- Knowledge of GPSR, UK product safety legislation, CE marking and/or UKCA requirements.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and compliance records.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience within veterinary, healthcare, laboratory, medical device or technical product sectors.
- ISO 9001 experience.
- Internal auditing experience.
- Supplier qualification or supplier quality experience.
