The Finance function at Marex is responsible for reviewing and reporting fair value inventory consistently across all asset classes.

Role Summary
We are seeking an outstanding candidate to work within the Product control team of Marex Solutions, covering several asset classes: Equities, Commodities, Crypto, FX, Fund Derivatives and more.
This role will also play a key role in driving Finance transformation and change, in line with the overall Marex transformation agenda.
Responsibilities
- Perform Daily P&L Production for various asset classes. Prepare results, including Risk based analysis, communicate to traders and be able to challenge on any significant disputes. Prepare P&L proforma information.
- In depth analysis of Funding, Sales credits and Risk based P&L (incl Greeks). Calculate Fair value adjustments (CVA, DVA, Bid/Offer).
- Build out and run the daily FOBO process ensuring front office trades and cash flows are correctly represented in the firms books and records (ledgers).
- Work on helping build the P&L process for the Solutions business. This will require working with various stakeholders to assess risk, document risk gaps and build automated solutions to address any gaps.
- Understand the end to end control environment working with Operations and Trading to identify Control weaknesses and work collaboratively to solve. This could be across the balance sheet, P&L, Sales credits or reporting disclosures.
- Work on various product initiatives within the team, Marex is an evolving firm and requires ability to integrate new products, business lines, systems into the reporting environment.
- The position comes with a strong project focus and the candidate will be a key contributor to identifying opportunities and delivering process and transformation improvements.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required.
- Assist the firm in adhering to SOX compliance guidelines, designing and implementing best practice controls.
- Working with external audit to ensure Marex is successfully audited both at year-end and across the year through ad-hoc requests and reviews before earnings releases.
- To escalate risk events immediately.

Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of Capital markets and Structured products such as Notes, will be helpful and broad appreciation for how Solutions products benefit our clients.

- Ability to collaborate with Management, Front Office, Legal, Operations and Risk.
- Ability to pinpoint root cause issues.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Proven analytics and investigation skills.
- Ideally proficient in MS office (Excel) and comparing and analysing data sets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Process optimisation or change experience (preferred, but not essential).
- Experience in Python / SQL or Alteryx (preferred, but not essential).
