Product Control Specialist - Fixed Income Rates – Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund
An elite, multi-strategy, multi-billion-dollar AUM hedge fund is seeking an experienced Senior Product Control Specialist to join its highly regarded London team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of daily P&L and valuation oversight across a broad range of Fixed Income and OTC derivative products, partnering closely with the Front Office to analyse P&L, investigate pricing discrepancies and deliver insightful analysis to traders and senior stakeholders. A key part of the role will involve maintaining robust controls around valuations, market data and pricing, with particular emphasis on interest rate curves, yield curves and pricing methodologies, ensuring the integrity of financial information used by the trading desks.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of daily P&L and valuation oversight
- Close partnership with the Front Office to analyse P&L and investigate pricing discrepancies
- Delivery of insightful analysis to traders and senior stakeholders
- Maintenance of robust controls around valuations, market data and pricing
- Ensuring the integrity of financial information used by the trading desks
Collaboration
Working closely with Risk, Technology, Quantitative Analytics and Operations, you'll contribute to enhancements in valuation models, support new product launches and drive automation initiatives to strengthen controls and improve scalability.

Ideal Candidate
- 7+ years' experience within Product Control, Valuations or a Front Office Control function gained at a leading hedge fund or Tier 1 investment bank
- Deep Fixed Income and Rates product knowledge, including experience with Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), bonds and other OTC derivatives
- Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, valuation controls, interest rate curves and market data
- A numerate degree is preferred
- Python, SQL and Advanced Excel skills viewed as highly advantageous
