Product Controller AVP/VP, £90-100,000, London and Hybrid (3 days in the office)
We are working with a world-leading Banking & Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a Product Controller on a 12-month FTC into their team.
In the role, you’ll be responsible for controlling and reporting high quality and timely financial information referring to commercial activity to multiple stakeholders. This is a key role within an exciting and entrepreneurial part of the business.
Your Role
- Producing daily P&L for various trading desks, challenge any differences and report issues.
- Preparing senior management reports on the performance and risk analysis.
- Calculating fair value adjustments and ensuring trades are correctly recorded.
- Involvement in the improvement of the P&L process working with various stakeholders across the business.
- Ensure a strong control environment and highlight any weaknesses to senior management.
- Perform analysis on any new products and impact on the business.
- Actively taking part in projects bringing improvement to the reporting process.
- Analysing the balance sheet and reporting on business drivers.

Your Skills and Qualifications
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified with at least 4 years P&L reporting experience, ideally with varied product knowledge (Equities / FICC)
- Strong inter-personal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
