Responsibilities
- To write product descriptions across all Kurt Geiger domains, Shoeaholics, Carvela, Steve Madden and partners.
- Own and maintain brand lexicons and tone of voice, across all Kurt Geiger domains
- Where applicable adapt product copy for our global websites
- Measuring products to add dimension data to our websites
- Analyse product features to accurately input into product copy
- Collaborate with buying and design teams to ensure product description accuracy
- Liaise with trade and marketing teams to aid with google analytics
- Handle and organise products to fit seamlessly into other workflows
- Work with internal AI tools to assist with ad-hoc copy
- Utilise new and upcoming technologies to develop efficiency within your role

As a Product Copywriter you will be solely responsible for writing product descriptions across the Kurt Geiger, Shoeaholics, Carvela and Steve Madden UK websites. Upon receiving the product at our in-house Studio you will write accurate and informing product descriptions which you will then input into our PIM. You will use brand lexicons and product copy guidelines to provide vital product information in a concise and effective way.
Day to day, you will work alongside our in-house photography studio, ensuring receive products and imagery in a smooth and timely manner.
You will be responsible for uploading product copy to our CMS for all domains, including international sites.
You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure SEO principles and basic keyword knowledge is applied to product copy.
Requirements
- The ability to write clear and compelling copy to describe our products
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to effectively prompt AI tools
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong team player with the ability to make and maintain connections across the business
- Hands on experience with Content Management Systems
- Basic keyword knowledge
- An ability to apply SEO principles to product copy to improve SEO rankings
