Product Counsel Lawyers – UK Remote, Onsite or Hybrid
We are seeking Product Counsel Lawyers in the UK to provide strategically focused legal advice on product, commercial, platform, and technology matters for Axiom’s diverse client base, specialising in fast-growing digital, consumer-facing, and technology-driven businesses.
About the Role
Support organisations across industries—including digital platforms, SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, and consumer tech—with expert guidance on product development, compliance, and operational risk.
Responsibilities

Legal & Commercial Guidance
- Provide practical, commercially driven legal advice on:
- Product development
- Product launches
- User journeys & customer experience
- Platform features & operational risk
- Consumer-facing services

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, legal, commercial, marketing, customer support, policy, trust & safety, and engineering teams to:
- Support digital initiatives
- Oversee go-to-market strategies
- Manage complaints & escalations
- Execute business-critical projects
- Partner with product, legal, commercial, marketing, customer support, policy, trust & safety, and engineering teams to:

Documentary & Contractual Support
- Draft, review, and advise on critical documents, including:
- Consumer & supplier terms
- SaaS agreements & MSAs
- Distribution agreements
- NDAs, DPAs, and policies
- Disclaimers & compliant marketing/customer-facing materials
- Draft, review, and advise on critical documents, including:

Regulatory & Compliance Expertise
- Navigate complex legal frameworks governing digital products/platforms, including:
- Consumer protection (e.g., U.K. Consumer Rights Act)
- Online advertising (e.g., CAP Code/Ofcom regulations)
- Data privacy (GDPR, UK DPA 2018)
- Intellectual property (copyrights, trademarks, open-source compliance)
- Platform governance (user moderation, algorithmic transparency)
- Emerging technologies (AI, robots, crypto: regulatory risks/evolutions)
- Navigate complex legal frameworks governing digital products/platforms, including:

Minimum Qualifications
Must demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following specialisations:
- Platform/Product Counselling: Experience advising on SaaS, marketplaces, apps, travel, or fintech.
- Regulatory and Commercial: Hands-on guidance for launches, alerts, trending, contracts, or risk mitigation.
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Worked with product, launches, commercial, customer support compliance, policy, or engineering teams.
- Technologies & Jurisdictions: Deep knowledge of digital ecosystems, U.K. tech regulation, or similarly complex legal domains.

- Legal–Technical Acumen: Translates legal jargon into practical risk-strategy.
- Stakeholder Management: Delivers pragmatic advice under pressure across fast-moving teams.
- Drafting Prestige: Drafts and advises internal/external customers with precision and flair.
