🚀 Data Product Manager – Decisioning, Optimization & Data Science | Consumer Loyalty Brand
📍 Remote (office in London)
💰 Up to £110,000 + 20% bonus
🌍 Consumer / Loyalty / Data-led Business
We're partnering with a well-known consumer loyalty business on a key Data Product Manager – Decisioning, Optimization & Data Science hire, sitting in the central data product team. This is a high-impact role wrapping a data science function, owning the experimentation paradigm, and shaping how decisioning and personalisation drive real business value.
This is not a delivery-style product role. They want someone who can think like a data scientist and act like a product leader — someone who can cut through internally-driven work and align the data science team to outcomes that matter, like personalisation, recommender systems, and next-best-action platforms.

What you'll be doing as the Data Product Manager:
- ✅ Owning the decisioning and personalisation strategy, sitting on top of recommender and next-best-action platforms
- ✅ Driving prioritisation for the data science team, ensuring work aligns to measurable business value
- ✅ Owning the experimentation paradigm across the business
- ✅ Helping craft the organisation's approach to decisioning and optimisation at scale
- ✅ Operating as a true product leader in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment that values speed and flexibility
Requirements for the Data Product Manager:
- 🔹 Ex-data scientist who has moved into product, or a product manager with strong data science exposure
- 🔹 Strong understanding of experimentation, decisioning, and optimisation concepts
- 🔹 Experience working with or alongside recommender systems, next-best-action, or personalisation platforms
- 🔹 Ability to prioritise and push back — comfortable saying no to stakeholders and sequencing demand effectively
