Talentmark is recruiting for a Product Definition Lead to join a company in the medical devices industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully site-based in Motherwell.
Product Definition Lead Role
- Drive the success of our product definition initiatives and guide the technical direction of complex systems.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of specialized systems and requirements engineers.
- Oversee and lead the product definition for technically complex POC systems.
- Drive requirements engineering, elicitation, and thorough evaluations for completeness.
- Support the engineering team with technical issue identification, rapid resolution, and closure.

Your Background
- Hold a Master's or PhD in engineering, life sciences, or a related scientific subject.
- A proven track record of 5 or more years in requirements engineering, systems engineering, or product definition, preferably within the medical device, diagnostics, or a heavily regulated industry.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a true passion for solving problems both individually and in collaborative, interdisciplinary team settings.
- A high degree of flexibility, proactiveness, and strategic vision to steer point-of-care platforms in line with global business goals.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and quick-thinking skills, with a track record of translating business and clinical needs into precise requirements.
