Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Delivery Manager with a strong Mechanical Systems Engineering background to lead the delivery of complex aerospace and defence programmes. This role will drive cross-functional engineering activities, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful delivery of advanced mechanical system solutions within a digital engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex mechanical systems projects across the full product lifecycle.
- Coordinate engineering activities across multiple suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive implementation of Digital Engineering and Digital Thread methodologies.
- Manage product development within Model-Based Engineering (MBE) environments.
- Oversee engineering activities involving 3D CAD and Model-Based Definition (MBD) tools.
- Support technical decision-making related to kinematics, multibody dynamics, and actuation systems.
- Ensure robust application of GD&T and tolerance analysis principles.
- Champion Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) engineering throughout programme delivery.
- Monitor programme risks, schedules, budgets, and technical performance to achieve delivery objectives.
- Work closely with engineering, programme management, and customer teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years' experience delivering engineering programmes within Aerospace or Defence environments.
- Strong Mechanical Systems Engineering background.
- Proven experience with Digital Engineering and Digital Thread practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of Model-Based Engineering (MBE).
- Experience working within 3D CAD and Model-Based Definition (MBD) environments.
- Understanding of Kinematics and Multibody Dynamics analysis.
- Experience with Actuation Systems engineering and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis methodologies.
- Experience applying Reliability & Maintainability engineering principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery across multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
- Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Desirable Experience
- SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Aerospace certification and safety standards including ARP4754A and ARP4761.
- Environmental qualification experience aligned to DO-160.
- Experience with Digital Twin technologies and Co-simulation environments.
