About Smart Bricks
Smart Bricks is building the intelligence layer for the world's physical economy. Every year, trillions of dollars are invested across real estate, infrastructure, energy and other real assets using fragmented systems, disconnected data and institutional knowledge trapped inside spreadsheets, PDFs and people's heads.

We're building an AI-native platform that enables investors, developers, governments and Fortune 500 companies to make faster, better and more explainable decisions across the entire lifecycle of physical assets—from sourcing and underwriting to due diligence, portfolio management and capital allocation.
Alongside our institutional platform, we're building a world-class AI Lab that partners directly with leading organisations to redesign how work gets done in the age of AI.
Our ambition isn't simply to build better software. We're building the operating system for how institutions will make decisions over the next decade.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Product Designer (AI Products) to help invent what enterprise software looks like in the age of AI.
This is not a traditional Product Design role. You're not joining to polish screens or maintain a design system. You're joining to design entirely new ways for humans and AI to work together.
You'll work directly alongside the Founder, the VP of AI Lab and the Founding Engineering Lead to transform complex institutional workflows into elegant AI-native experiences.
You'll help answer questions the industry hasn't solved yet:
- How should an investment committee collaborate with AI?
- How should a portfolio manager trust an autonomous agent?
- How should thousands of pages of due diligence become a five-minute conversation?
You'll help define those answers.
Your Mission
Design the future of institutional work.
Your responsibility is to make AI feel intuitive, trustworthy and genuinely useful for professionals making billion-dollar decisions.

What You'll Build

Design AI-Native Experiences
Design products that couldn't exist before AI. Examples include:
- Multi-agent investment workflows
- AI copilots
- Conversational underwriting
- Due diligence assistants
- Investment committee workspaces
- Portfolio intelligence
- Market research copilots
- Workflow orchestration
- Human-in-the-loop decision systems
You'll help define entirely new interaction patterns for enterprise AI.

Prototype the Future
Move quickly from idea to interactive prototype.
Work directly with customers to validate new concepts before they're built.
You'll constantly explore:
- New interaction models
- AI reasoning experiences
- Agent collaboration
- Trust and explainability
- Visualisation of complex intelligence
- Natural language interfaces

Work Alongside Customers
Spend time observing how institutional teams actually work.
You'll interview users. Shadow investment teams. Observe analysts. Understand decision making.
The best ideas won't come from brainstorming sessions. They'll come from watching real work happen.

Partner Closely With Engineering
Design shouldn't stop in Figma.
You'll work directly with engineers to ensure experiences are implemented with exceptional quality.
You'll iterate rapidly based on customer feedback.
You'll care as much about execution as ideas.

Build Our Design Culture
As one of our earliest product hires you'll define how design operates inside Smart Bricks.
You'll establish principles around:
- AI interaction design
- Enterprise UX
- Explainability
- Accessibility
- Design systems
- Prototyping
- User research
- Product quality
The standards you establish will shape the product for years to come.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months you will have:
- Designed the core interaction model for our institutional platform.
- Created entirely new AI workflows for enterprise users.
- Helped launch multiple AI-native products into production.
- Built a deep understanding of how institutional teams work.
- Established design principles for AI products across the company.
- Helped create a product recognised for exceptional usability and customer delight.

Experience designing AI products, workflow software or enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
Experience in real estate is not required. Curiosity about complex industries is.
