The role

We are looking to hire a Product Design Lead to join our Product Design team in London, UK.

This is an on-site role out of our London office.

Working at WGSN

Together, we create tomorrow

A career with WGSN is fast-paced, exciting and full of opportunities to grow and develop. We're a team of consumer and design trend forecasters, content creators, designers, data analysts, advisory consultants and much more, united by a common goal: to create tomorrow.

WGSN's trusted consumer and design forecasts power outstanding product design, enabling our customers to create a better future. Our services cover consumer insights, beauty, consumer tech, fashion, interiors, lifestyle, food and drink forecasting, data analytics and expert advisory. If you are an expert in your field, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview

We're looking for a talented Product Designer to join the Product Design team at WGSN. You'll own design for your team across the full product development lifecycle, working closely with developers, product managers, data engineers, and content editors to shape and elevate our customer experience.

You bring strong conceptual thinking and a systems mindset — able to translate user needs into functional, delightful digital product experiences, and comfortable moving between polished detail and fast, low-fi exploration depending on what the moment calls for.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own design projects end-to-end across multiple product launches, acting as a champion for design and user experience
  • Design with data at the core: Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable user experiences — applying strong data visualisation principles, working closely with product and data engineering to ensure data integrity, and staying close to user needs so every data-driven feature solves a real problem
  • Use AI tools fluently in your design and prototyping workflow, with a clear point of view on where AI adds the most value and how to keep improving that workflow
  • Facilitate stakeholder conversations and workshops to define and implement solutions
  • Translate research insights into new product ideas and features, and validate design assumptions with users through qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Partner with product managers, developers, and content editors in a lean, agile, multi-disciplinary team to find practical, elegant solutions
  • Take full ownership of your design decisions and work autonomously
  • Contribute to and help evolve our design system, maintaining consistency across products
  • Be a proactive, engaged member of the design and product community, helping shape team culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
