ABOUT DESCRIAL
Descrial is an AI work-execution platform purpose-built for alternative investment firms and their portfolio companies and securely orchestrates proprietary data, external sources, and workflows. Descrial is an important pillar of Enterprise Intelligence Orchestration (EIO) and enables it by structuring and standardizing data while embedding domain expertise, thereby enabling faster and contextual analysis, broader coverage, and more intelligent decision-making. It is backed by TresVista's 1,800+ employees and deep domain expertise across investment diligence, research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics. The team is small, senior, high-ownership, and in-office, with direct access to the Executive Committee.
OVERVIEW
As Product Designer & UX Researcher, you will combine hands-on product design with ownership of the research practice for a platform whose users are some of the most time-poor, expertise-dense professionals anywhere: investment analysts, associates, and partners. You will build the evidence base that product decisions rest on and design from it: discovery and usability work through to flows, prototypes, and shipped interfaces, at a weekly release cadence. You would be our first research hire, working inside the design team: our users are hard to reach, their data is confidential, and access runs through client relationships, so getting to them reliably is a discipline in itself.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research practice

Design and delivery
- Turn findings into designed solutions: user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI built on our design system
- Design and evaluate AI-assisted workflows for user trust, verification behaviour, and failure-mode tolerance, contributing golden examples and failure taxonomies to AI evaluation sets
- Partner with product and engineering from problem framing to release, arguing for prioritised, traceable decisions where trade-offs happen
