Job Description

As a Product Designer at Scarlet, you will transform complex medical regulations into fast, clear, and trustworthy digital experiences. You will design tools for both medical technology companies and regulatory assessment teams. Working closely with engineering and regulatory experts, you’ll own the end-to-end design process to accelerate global healthcare innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Design and ship end-to-end features for medical tech companies and regulatory teams, ensuring complex compliance workflows are intuitive and efficient.
  • Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and regulatory experts to prototype new solutions and test them with real-world customers.
  • Build and maintain a robust design system in code, ensuring high craft standards and consistency across Scarlet’s expanding product suite.

The ideal candidate

  • Brings a strong portfolio of shipped products, demonstrating exceptional design craft and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, impactful solutions.
  • Possesses a blend of sharp product judgement and technical instinct, ideally with experience prototyping and evolving design systems directly in code.
  • Has superb communication skills and a background in health tech or other highly regulated industries where trust and clarity are paramount.
