ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD

NexGen Cloud is a fast-growing GPU cloud and AI infrastructure business. We're the company behind Hyperstack — a self-serve, on-demand cloud platform built for high-performance AI, HPC, and compute-heavy workloads. Powered by 100% renewable energy and NVIDIA architecture, Hyperstack gives teams from AI startups to enterprise the compute they need, without the cost or complexity of legacy cloud. We move fast, solve hard problems, and build things that matter. If you want ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to one of the most consequential infrastructure shifts of the decade — this is the place.

THE ROLE: Product Designer — HyperStack

Hyperstack doesn't have a dedicated product design function yet, and the gap is already showing up externally in ClusterMax reviews. We need someone to close it directly — building the first design function for the product from scratch, with a direct line into product strategy rather than executing someone else's decisions.

This is a role for someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, works from a flat reporting line with real autonomy, and turns partially-specified technical requirements into designed journeys without waiting for a fully-scoped brief.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Rather than a checklist, here's what success in this role actually looks like:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Own UX and interaction design across Hyperstack's core journeys — onboarding, account activation, GPU selection, funding, and Kubernetes workflows.
  • Translate technical requirements straight from the Product Lead into clear workflows, working from raw requirements rather than a finished brief.
  • Research and map user journeys independently, using ClusterMax reviews and customer feedback to find where the experience is falling short.
  • Close the gap between Hyperstack's current product experience and where it needs to be, end-to-end from research through to shipped design.
  • Build Hyperstack's first product design function from the ground up, with real influence over product strategy.

ABOUT YOU

We care more about how you think and work than a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:

Essential:

  • Shipped UX/interaction design work for a technical, infrastructure, or developer-facing product — pure consumer-app experience won't cover it
  • Proven ability to take input directly from a Product Lead and turn it into clear workflows without a large design team or heavy process
  • Independent research capability — able to map user journeys yourself, not just execute against a pre-defined brief
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a flat reporting line, self-directing rather than waiting for detailed specs
