As a Product Designer (Experience Design) Senior Associate on the JPMM Platform team within Digital Markets (CIB)

You will help shape the end-to-end user experience of a high-impact platform used to engage with markets content, tools, and workflows. You’ll blend strong visual/UI craft with interaction design and systems thinking; turning complex requirements and data-heavy experiences into clear, intuitive, and trustworthy interfaces.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders across Markets to deliver consistent, accessible experiences at scale. This is a role for a designer who can zoom from concept to pixel: setting a high bar for UI quality while also navigating ambiguity, iterating quickly, and shipping work that measurably improves the platform.

About the Team

The JPMM Platform team sits within Digital Markets in the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). We own products within the platform outright, as well as build and evolve the platform foundations and shared experiences that power digital markets journeys - spanning navigation, information architecture, and core UX/UI patterns that teams rely on to deliver new capabilities quickly and safely. The work is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Design elegant, modern user experiences for web and mobile across the JPMM platform, maintaining a high bar for user experience, including visual design, layout, typography, and interaction polish
  • Translate complex requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready UI specifications; balancing speed, quality, and scalability
  • Design AI-enabled experiences that help users understand, trust, and effectively act on model-driven outputs (e.g., explanations, confidence/quality signals, human-in-the-loop review, fallbacks, and error states)
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and relevant partners to define how experiences, solutions and AI outputs are presented, evaluated, and incorporated into end-to-end platform workflows
  • Use AI thoughtfully within your own design workflow to accelerate exploration, synthesis, and iteration (e.g., rapid ideation, content variations, prototyping support), while applying strong judgment, quality control, and appropriate governance for regulated environments
  • Drive platform-wide consistency through reusable patterns and design-system-first execution; contribute components, patterns, and guidance that enable other teams to ship high-quality experiences faster
  • Collaborate across teams to align experiences end-to-end, proactively identifying UX debt and opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve usability
  • Work with Research and Insights teams to conduct and incorporate user research and usability testing (formal and lightweight), and use qualitative + quantitative inputs to inform design decisions
  • Ensure inclusive, accessible experiences by applying accessibility standards and designing for diverse users and contexts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
