About Elyos AI
We’re building the next generation of customer service with AI Agents. Our agents answer calls, reply to emails and WhatsApp messages, make bookings, take payments, and operate the CRM in the same way a human would.
We founded Elyos in June 2023 and took part in the Y Combinator S23 batch. Our founders spent four months in San Francisco living and breathing AI. Since then, we’ve been growing revenue ~30% month on month and shipping fast. It’s been wild so far - and we’re just getting started. We recently raised a $13m series A to turbocharge our growth.
The product has grown faster than any one of us can hold in our head - agent configuration, calls, email, campaigns, scheduling - and design has been shared out across whoever happened to be building the feature. It needs an owner. Someone to give it one language, and enough depth that it holds up when hundreds of customers use it in ways we didn't plan for.
There are two sides to it. How the agents behave, on the phone and in the inbox and over chat. And the product behind them, where a trade business sets up what its agents do and checks what they did.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'd be our first designer, working directly with the two CEOs, the CTO and with engineers to build what you design.
The work, roughly in order:
- How our customers work alongside their agents. Watching a call, correcting the agent, deciding what it can and can't do, trusting it a bit more next time. Nobody has good patterns for this yet.
- One design language. Type, colour, icons, components, written down and held to.
- Joining the product up. Onboarding, creating an agent, setting up on-call, reviewing what it books - separate islands today, and you'd be central to fixing it.
You'll spend real time with customers. They run vans, not product teams, and they'll tell you exactly what's wrong. Their current software was designed in the 2000s and has been cobbled together ever since. Nobody has seriously designed for this industry. There's nothing to inherit and nothing to copy, so the patterns would be yours to set. And they're the best users you could ask for: they've never had good software, so they know within a day whether something works.

We're looking for someone who's designed something genuinely complicated. Dense screens, real operational workflows, software people sit in all day. You prototype fast, you're fluent with AI tools, and you won't be the one shipping the React unless you want to be. You'll need opinions and the willingness to push them.
Brand and the marketing site sit elsewhere. This is the product.
