Our Role

At The White Company, we want our digital experience to feel as inspiring and considered as the products we create. We’re always evolving how customers discover, explore and shop with us across our website and app, and we’re looking for a Digital Product Designer to help shape what comes next.

Our product design team works across multiple workstreams, so the work is varied: from product discovery and editorial experiences to the moments that help customers choose with confidence and buy with ease.

You’ll lead design work independently - from understanding a customer problem or strategic opportunity through to delivery and iteration. Working closely with product, optimisation, engineering, insight and creative colleagues, you’ll bring people into the process and balance customer needs with commercial goals. You’ll have the space to challenge how we do things, test new ideas and make a visible difference to the customer experience.

What Skills & Experience You’ll Need

  • Experience leading digital product design projects independently, from defining the problem through to delivery and iteration.
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills, with experience creating journeys, prototypes and polished interfaces across mobile, desktop and app.
  • Experience choosing and conducting appropriate research, including customer interviews, usability testing and competitor benchmarking, then applying what you learn.
  • Confidence combining customer insight, behavioural analytics and business context to make and explain design decisions.
  • Experience designing experiments, interpreting results and improving experiences after launch.
  • The ability to work closely with product, engineering and other stakeholders to deliver feasible, accessible solutions and build agreement around a direction.
  • Experience using AI tools to support parts of the design process, such as exploring ideas, synthesising research or prototyping, with sound judgement about accuracy, customer data and when human review is needed.
  • Experience using and contributing to design systems, including reusable patterns and accessibility guidance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
