At The Doctor's Kitchen, we help people feel more in control of their health through food and lifestyle.
Every month, millions of people cook with our recipes, listen to our podcasts, read our newsletters and use our app to build healthier habits.
Now we're looking for our first dedicated Product Designer to shape the future of our app.
We want you to help design an experience that genuinely helps people cook more, eat better and improve their health.
If you're excited by designing intuitive journeys, testing ideas quickly and building products that improve people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
🎨 What you'll be doing
- You'll own design across our digital products, with a particular focus on our app.
- Unpick the existing app to create a tight, sticky experience for users.
- Design new features end-to-end, turning complex problems (e.g. meal planning) into visually simple solutions.
- Obsess about the core app experience to make it simpler, more intuitive and engaging.
- Build out a design playbook for our digital product(s) and lead on all things design across the company.
- Run user research, usability testing and customer interviews.
- Help shape the long-term product vision alongside the leadership team.

🔎 Who we’re looking for…
- 4+ years of product design experience across UX and UI.
- Experience designing consumer mobile apps, ideally in a startup or very small team.
- A strong portfolio showing thoughtful product thinking and beautiful execution.
- Experience designing onboarding, retention and product-led growth experiences.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
- Curiosity to speak to users regularly and let insights guide your work.
- Note that we’re open to this role being either part-time or full-time.
Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys getting stuck in, taking ownership and making things happen. We’re here to help people build healthier habits with food. Every interaction should help people feel more confident in the kitchen, reduce friction and make healthy eating feel easy.

📌 Please note: we’re located in White City, London, UK. You need to be able to travel to the office 2-3x a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. As long as the work gets done.
