Digital Product Designer

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Digital Product Designer to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6 month contract and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a talented Digital Product Designer (UX/UI) to join a leading Financial Services organisation, helping to create intuitive, customer-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. Working within a cross-functional product team, you will combine strong UX thinking with exceptional UI design skills to shape end-to-end digital journeys. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and key business stakeholders to design and deliver innovative solutions that improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in agile environments, enjoys solving complex user problems and has experience delivering digital products within regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or FinTech.

Responsibilities

  • Design user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile channels.
  • Translate customer needs, user insights and business requirements into intuitive design solutions.
  • Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, patterns and component libraries.
  • Conduct and support usability testing and incorporate findings into design iterations.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability and best-practice design standards.
  • Present design concepts, rationale and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Use data, customer insights and feedback to continuously improve digital experiences.
  • Support the delivery of scalable, consistent and engaging product experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
