Anaplan is looking for a Product Designer to join our growing global User Experience team based in our Manchester office. You will be a key contributor within our global product organization, collaborating across our hubs in Manchester, San Francisco, London, and beyond.

Now is an exciting time to join our UX team of 25+ designers and researchers shaping the future of enterprise planning. We design powerful, data-rich, and intuitive interfaces that help customers make confident business decisions, while defining the next generation of AI-powered experiences across the Anaplan platform. Our work spans core modeling capabilities, intelligent applications, agentic AI experiences, and user-facing planning workflows—all underpinned by a world-class design system.

In this role, you will own feature-level product design across the Anaplan platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to solve complex design challenges impacting thousands of enterprise users worldwide. From evolving core planning experiences to contributing to cutting-edge AI capabilities, you'll help build enterprise products that are scalable, accessible, and user-centered from concept through delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • End-to-End Design: Design and deliver user-centered solutions for a defined product area, balancing user needs, technical constraints, business goals, and emerging AI capabilities where appropriate.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Discovery & Research: Participate in discovery activities including customer interviews, workshops, journey mapping, usability testing, and the exploration of AI-driven user experiences.
  • Complex Workflow Simplification: Design intuitive experiences across both traditional enterprise workflows and AI-powered interactions, helping users accomplish complex tasks with confidence.
  • Prototyping & Artifacts: Produce high-quality user flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Design System Stewardship: Work with and contribute to the Anaplan Design System to ensure consistent, accessible, and cohesive product experiences.
  • Data-Informed Iteration: Leverage qualitative and quantitative data, customer feedback, and experimentation to validate design decisions and continuously improve experiences.
  • Champion Best Practices: Advocate for accessibility (WCAG), usability, and the thoughtful, responsible adoption of AI across the product ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

  • Professional experience in product design.
  • Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
  • Proven experience designing for data-rich, workflow-heavy interfaces and complex systems.
  • High proficiency in Figma and experience working within comprehensive design systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, trade-offs, and rationale clearly to cross-functional partners.
  • A systems-thinking mindset with a passion for high craft, continuous iteration, and constructive feedback.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing for enterprise platforms, including admin, builder, data modeling, or AI-assisted workflows.
  • Exposure to designing AI-powered experiences (e.g., conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, contextual recommendations, or generative AI features).
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions translate into technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, financial systems, business planning software, or complex B2B solutions.
  • Experience operating within Agile, cross-functional product teams.
