As a Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you'll work on the H Platform, where our users create and run agentic AI workflows powered by our models. Nobody has written the playbook for designing these experiences yet. Our next stage is making the platform truly useful for its users and levelling it up, in design as much as in technology, and you'll build the product experiences that deliver real value in organisations.

At H Company, we believe AI should take action in the real world, and our mission is to make agentic AI genuinely useful for large organisations. We're pioneers in computer use: our own vision-language models power agents that see, click and type their way through the software businesses already run, with no integrations or rebuilds, and we own the whole stack, from research and models to the products built on top of them.

What you'll be doing

  • Talking to our users constantly to understand their needs and figure out what will make the platform truly useful for them.
  • Turning those insights into research and explorations, looking at problems from different angles before settling on a direction.
  • Picking the right tool for each task: a Figma design, a prototype, or a small PR when a quick change is the fastest way to ship.
  • Testing what you build with users, measuring its impact (A/B testing, user interviews, users daily use data...) and iterating quickly based on what you learn.
  • Shaping the roadmap together with the whole team, engineers and PMs alike.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who you'll work with

The role sits in our Product team, which is responsible for product direction, strategy and design. You'll join the product designer who owns design and UX today, and work closely with product, engineering and forward deployed engineers.

What we think it takes

Above all, we want someone who cares deeply about users, has great product taste and can explain it, moves fast while keeping quality high, leaves their ego at the door and welcomes feedback.

Likely a good fit if you

  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer at tech companies.
  • Have excellent UX, UI and interaction design skills, and can make complex, technical flows, like building and running AI agent workflows, feel simple and intuitive.
  • Have a portfolio that shows your latest work.
  • Have hands-on experience running user tests and A/B tests.
  • Know when a proven solution is good enough and when a problem deserves something new.
  • Have designed complex data or ML/AI-driven products: you know how to make complex systems understandable and how to design for AI behaviour that isn't always predictable, building trust and keeping users in control.
  • Are comfortable in technical discussions: you can dig into constraints and trade-offs with engineers and ramp up quickly on technical topics to discuss them with our researchers and more technical engineers.
  • Are fluent in Figma.
  • Can work within a design system and contribute to it.

Stronger still if you

  • Have designed platforms: complex B2B web or desktop software used by professionals, whether that's tools to build and run workflows, big data and analytics software, operational dashboards or other data-dense interfaces.
  • Are curious about code and AI in your design workflow. Every design team is still figuring out how AI changes the way we work, and we're no different, so we'd love someone who has started experimenting, whether by prototyping in code, building small tools or bringing AI into their process, and who wants to keep exploring with us.

If you match most of this but not every point, apply anyway. We care far more about how you think, your curiosity and your care for users than a perfect match.

How we hire

Four stages: a 30-minute call with our Talent team, a 60-minute portfolio review, a 60-minute design interview in person at our London office, and a closing 30-minute conversation.

The portfolio review and design interview are built around your own work and how you design. Please apply with your CV and a link to your portfolio showing your latest work.
