About Stride
'Normal' health is no longer good enough. Normal is code for tired, stressed, barely functioning and slowly declining, and calling that a life. We think everyone has a right to better than that.
Stride is turning tracking your entire internal biology into a lifestyle, with a next generation preventative health membership. Every member builds a multi-omic health profile covering DNA, microbiome, blood biomarkers, epigenetics and oral health. That's over 500 biomarkers, tested at least twice a year, so we can see direction of travel and not just a single point in time.
Then we turn it into what to actually do: what to eat, how to train, what to supplement, what to watch, with a coach, dietitian or physiologist alongside you.
Imagine an elite longevity concierge, at an everyday price, with no stuffy clinics to attend!
The Role
This is yours to own. Most health products hand people a page of numbers and leave them to work out what it means. Your job is to make sure none of Stride's science gets lost between the lab and the person trying to live better because of it.
You'll own product design for the member experience end to end: the app and web surfaces where someone sees their results, understands what changed, and knows exactly what to do next. You'll work closely with the Head of Product (Olympic athlete, exercise physiologist, ex-DNAfit, FIFA and Prenetics), our CTO and the wider product and engineering team. You'll take problems from rough idea to shipped, polished experience.
Your biggest challenge will be our flagship biological age platform. It's a longitudinal, multi-omic view of how someone's rate of ageing changes over time. It's backed by both an Innovate UK grant and a multi-million-pound Innovation Loan, and there's no obvious template to copy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design end to end across onboarding, results, protocols, coaching and community
- Turn dense biomarker and trend data into visualisations that are easy to understand at a glance
- Run lightweight research and testing to validate decisions, not just rely on instinct
- Build and evolve a design system that keeps the product coherent as it grows
The Biological Age Platform
- Design how members see their biological age over time: trends, comparisons, and the moments that make the data feel real
- Turn a genuinely novel scoring model into an interface nobody has quite built before
- Work with our scientific team to keep it rigorous and evidence-based while you simplify it
Cross-functional Partnership
- Partner with product and engineering from the earliest framing of a problem, not just at handoff
- Work with our clinical team so design never compromises accuracy or trust
- Collaborate with marketing and brand so product and brand reinforce each other
Building with AI
- Use AI natively for research synthesis, rapid prototyping and exploring more directions, faster
- Bring judgement on where AI speeds up craft and where human taste still has to lead
How We'll Know It's Working
- Members understand their results and know what to do next
- Design quality and consistency as the product scales
- Speed from problem to shipped, well-considered solution
- Measurable impact on engagement, retention and trust
What You'll Bring
- A few years designing complex digital products, ideally consumer-facing, where you owned problems end to end
- Real skill at simplifying complexity: dense data or complicated processes made intuitive
- Strong craft across the full process, from research and flows to production-ready design
- Fluency with AI tooling as a genuine part of your process, not a novelty
- Comfort working closely with engineering, and a practical sense of what's easy, hard or not worth building
- The ability to explain a design decision with real rationale, not just taste
- Comfort with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team, where you'll sometimes design the process as well as the product

A People team built for ambitious businesses
The old model for People & Talent doesn’t work for today's businesses. We've built a better one.
Traditionally, early-stage Founders had two options: handle People & Talent themselves, losing precious time they should be spending on product or go-to-market, or hire a generalist, expected to cover everything from culture to recruitment to performance. We offer a more impactful alternative: A fully flexible, fractional People & Talent team with specialist skillsets and hands-on delivery, ready to start driving impact for your business in weeks, not months.
