About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Designer to lead the visual and user experience design efforts at Omaze. This senior individual contributor role is pivotal in setting the creative and aesthetic standards across our digital products. As a Principal Product Designer, you will define the visual direction, craft compelling customer experiences, and influence strategic decisions at the highest levels of the organization. Your expertise will help shape the future of Omaze's digital ecosystem, ensuring that every interaction is emotionally engaging, accessible, and aligned with our brand vision. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Brand to deliver innovative solutions that delight millions of users worldwide. Additionally, you will mentor team members, raise design standards, and advocate for customer-centered design principles throughout the company.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience designing high-quality consumer digital products.
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating outstanding visual, interaction, and UI design skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and evolve visual systems, product aesthetics, and design standards across organizations.
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders with strategic design vision.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills, capable of translating customer insights and data into compelling design narratives.
  • Deep expertise in Figma and modern design systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills working with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Mentoring experience, with a passion for elevating team capabilities and fostering a culture of design excellence.
  • Growth mindset with curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the visual design direction across Omaze's digital products, establishing high standards for UI craftsmanship.
  • Design and oversee the development of strategic, high-impact customer experiences from concept to delivery.
  • Partner with senior leaders and C-suite executives to shape and promote a cohesive product and visual vision.
  • Create beautiful, intuitive, and accessible user experiences that enhance both the product and Omaze’s brand identity.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Brand Designers to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
  • Mentor and develop the design team through critiques, workshops, and leadership by example.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect execution by working alongside Engineering to implement designs accurately.
  • Utilize customer insights, data, and experimentation to inform and influence strategic design decisions.
  • Advocate for design excellence and embed customer-centric thinking into all product development processes.
