Join a Project
Join a project focused on transforming a detailed design plan into a production-ready electronic controller unit and PCB. The role involves evaluating the optimal hardware approach—PLC or microcontroller—based on project requirements, then executing the full electronic design and PCB development. The controller unit will process multiple inputs and manage several relays and outputs according to specified logic. The ideal solution will prioritize cost-effective manufacturing and utilize standard, readily available components. There is potential for ongoing collaboration on future projects.
Responsibilities
- Assess project requirements and recommend the most suitable hardware platform (PLC or microcontroller)
- Design the electronic controller unit to handle multiple inputs and outputs
- Develop and optimize PCB layouts for manufacturability and reliability
- Select cost-effective, widely available electronic components
- Implement control logic to manage relays and outputs as per defined rules
- Provide technical documentation and support for production handover
- Advise on best practices for scalable and maintainable hardware solutions

Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in electronic circuit design and PCB development
- Strong knowledge of both PLCs and microcontroller-based systems
- Proficiency with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad)
- Ability to select and source standard electronic components for cost efficiency
- Understanding of relay control, input/output interfacing, and embedded system design
- Analytical skills to evaluate hardware trade-offs and recommend optimal solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering production-ready designs
- Good communication skills for technical consultation and documentation
- Availability for potential follow-up work and ongoing support
