JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a talented Product Development Admin to support Burberry’s Product Development team in Florence, ensuring key administrative, financial and logistics processes run with accuracy and care. This role plays an important part in helping goods move through the development cycle on time, while supporting timely vendor payments and clear budget visibility. Working closely with Product Development, Finance, Trade Compliance and wider cross-functional teams, you will help keep seasonal activity organised, informed and aligned to business priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Raise purchase orders for raw materials, components and shipments, ensuring information is accurate and vendors are paid on time.
  • Coordinate national and international shipments to and from Florence, working with couriers, vendors and internal teams.
  • Partner with Trade Compliance to prepare and manage the documentation required for import and export activity.
  • Maintain packing lists, sample order trackers and seasonal reports to support visibility across Design, Merchandising and Product Development.
  • Track shipment and Product Development budgets, allocating costs accurately and preparing clear analysis for Finance and leadership teams.
  • Monitor development activity, including mould costs, delivery progress and seasonal investment, providing updates that support key collection moments.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a careful eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Confident working with purchase orders, budgets, invoices or cost tracking in a product-led environment.
  • Able to build effective working relationships with internal teams, vendors, couriers and finance partners.
  • Clear and proactive communicator, comfortable managing multiple priorities and sharing timely updates.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP, Ariba or similar systems would be beneficial.
  • Collaborative, dependable and solutions-focused, with an interest in supporting the development of luxury products.
