Department: Goodhood Own Label / Product Development
Reports To: Creative Director, CEO & Buying Manager
Goodhood is an award-winning independent retailer with a distinctive point of view across fashion, lifestyle and culture. Alongside our curated mix of global brands, we are continuing to build our own-label proposition across Goodhood London, Goodhood Lifestore and Goodhood Worldwide.
As our own-label business grows, we are creating a dedicated role to lead the development of our homeware and lifestyle brands, working alongside our existing Own Label Product Developer who will focus specifically on clothing and accessories.
Role Overview
The role will be responsible for taking Goodhood's homeware and lifestyle brand ideas from initial concept through development, sourcing and production to final launch.
The role will specialise across Home, Lifestyle and Wellness, alongside other lifestyle categories and product opportunities as the Goodhood own-label proposition evolves.
This is a hands-on product role requiring a combination of creativity, commercial awareness, technical product knowledge and exceptional project management.
You will own the critical path for these brands and departments, ensuring products are developed to the right design, quality, cost and margin, and delivered on time for launch.
Working closely with Creative, Buying and the wider business, you will help turn Goodhood's ideas into distinctive, commercially viable products that feel relevant to our brands and customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
