LuxExperience Private Label develops and delivers exclusive own-brand collections across the group's portfolio of luxury destinations, including Mr Porter, NET-A-PORTER and Mytheresa. Partnering closely with the design teams dedicated to each store, the Product Development team transforms creative concepts into commercially successful products through world-class expertise in sourcing, development, technical design, fit, quality and production. The team combines craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail to create collections that reflect the distinctive aesthetic of each store while enhancing the group's offering to the world's most discerning luxury customers. As part of LuxExperience, the leading digital, multi-brand luxury group, the team plays an important role in shaping exclusive products that strengthen customer engagement and brand differentiation.
Product Developer
Department: Product Development & Production
Reporting into: Product Development Manager
Location: Our Westfield office in London
Working Model: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

The Product Developer will support the Private Label team in developing Own Label collections from concept through to delivery. The role ensures products are developed efficiently, cost-effectively, and sustainably, while maintaining the premium design and quality standards of the brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage development process from end-to-end; liaising with suppliers and mills to adhere to critical path timelines
- Support factory placement decisions, balancing supplier capabilities, margin targets, and sustainability objectives.
- Support design in fabric and factory sourcing and re-sourcing as well as development when required
- Monitor product development against target pricing and escalate risks or challenges as needed.
- Maintain sample trackers, BOMs, and accurate product documentation.
- Identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities across materials, trims, and production processes.
- Attend all garment fit meetings and log style changes with factories and cross functional teams
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Proven 5+ years’ experience in product development within luxury or premium fashion, ideally with private label collections.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
- Proactive approach with attention to detail and process improvement mindset along with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Design, Buying, Production, and Supplier teams.
- Commercially aware with understanding of target pricing, margins, and production constraints.
- Travel to factories overseas and attend trade fairs on seasonal basis
