Product Developer - Premium Menswear

East London | Temporary Contract | up to £43,000 per annum

Are you a Product Developer who loves bringing great ideas to life? Do you thrive on turning creative concepts into commercially successful products while keeping quality, margin and innovation at the heart of everything you do?

We're working with an iconic premium fashion brand looking for an experienced Product Developer to join their talented team on a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple product categories, collaborating with Design, Technical, Production and global suppliers to deliver exceptional collections from concept through to production.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving the critical path to ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Partnering with Design to transform creative ideas into commercially successful products.
  • Working closely with suppliers to source fabrics, trims and components while achieving target margins.
  • Negotiating costs, lead times and minimum order quantities.
  • Managing prototypes, sample development and product specifications through PLM.
  • Supporting fit sessions and working alongside Technical teams to ensure the perfect fit and finish.
  • Building strong relationships with international suppliers and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities to improve profitability without compromising quality.
  • Acting as a key point of contact throughout the product development lifecycle.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a Product Developer role within fashion or apparel.
  • Multi-product experience.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM systems and product development processes.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships across Europe and overseas.
  • Excellent understanding of critical path management.
  • Confidence attending fit sessions and working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent commercial awareness.
