Role Overview

PerfectTed is on a mission to fuel the future of energy with clean, matcha‑powered products. As Europe’s leading matcha brand and the UK’s fastest‑growing energy drink company, we’re redefining what modern energy should feel like.

In this role, you will lead the innovation, formulation, and optimisation of both our powdered and ready-to-drink product portfolios. This includes ceremonial-grade matcha, flavoured blends, functional powders, and liquid beverage formats.

You’ll own the journey from idea to launch, creating formulations, running trials, solving technical challenges, and ensuring our products deliver exceptional taste, functionality, and stability at scale across formats.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and wants to help build the world’s biggest matcha brand.

Key Responsibilities

🧪 Formulation & Innovation

  • Develop and refine formulations across powder blends or beverage products
  • Optimise flavour systems, sweetness, solubility, texture, and mouthfeel
  • Work with functional, botanical, and natural ingredients across dry and liquid systems
  • Troubleshoot product shelf‑life, physical stability, and quality challenges

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
