Product Development Admin Manager | Consumer Products | Greater Manchester
An established and growing supplier of toys, gifting and consumer products is looking for a Fluent Mandarin speaking Product Development Admin Manager to join its wider product team.
In this role, you will oversee the administration and coordination that supports the wider Product Development function, ensuring product information, specifications and documentation are accurate, up to date and delivered on time.
You'll work closely with internal product teams and overseas factories, helping to keep development processes organised, efficient and on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a small Product Development Administration team.
- Oversee product specifications, product information and development documentation.
- Work closely with overseas factories and suppliers on product specifications, samples and amendments.
- Coordinate information between internal teams and manufacturing partners to keep product development moving efficiently.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure key product development milestones are met.
- Maintain accurate product records, specifications and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.
- Support the wider Product Development team with day-to-day coordination and administration.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders.

About You

- Experience within Buying, Merchandising, Product Development or a similar product-focused role.
- Fluent Mandarin language skills.
- Experience working directly with factories or overseas suppliers, particularly around product specifications and development.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring a small team would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine interest in products.
- A collaborative personality and the ability to fit into a fast-paced, commercially focused product environment.
