Aspinal of London - Product Development Administrator

Aspinal of London are looking for a Product Development Administrator in this entry-level role at our Head Office in leafy West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is proactive, curious, and looking to start a career in the fashion industry. In this role, the successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Head of Product Development and Product Development Team.

You will be responsible for performing administrative duties, including managing sample and raw material shipments, shipping documents, and invoice administration. This is an exciting and dynamic role where no two days will be the same and an opportunity to see how we develop our leather collections.

This role is based in the HQ in Fernhurst, West Sussex, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sending all raw material and sample shipments to Aspinal suppliers, ensuring all shipping documents are accurate
  • Liaise with suppliers on shipments, tracking, and monitoring deliveries to ensure these arrive on time
  • Work closely with the Junior Raw Material Coordinator in picking & packing raw materials from Aspinal’s external warehouse and transferring these to head office
  • Support the PD team in entering all relevant data to the NAV system
  • Support the Product Developers in keeping all development & raw material tools up to date
  • Organise the sample archive, and support the Raw Material Coordinator to maintain the raw material archive
  • Manage the seasonal collection sample library, ensuring all samples are correctly labelled & stored in an organised manner
  • Ensure invoices are uploaded and matched on the NAV system in a timely manner
  • Ensure the logistics tracker is kept updated, tracking in all shipments and log references
  • Ensure all samples are clearly labelled and that the sample room is organised
  • Ensure all samples taken from the sample room are returned and logged back in
  • Organise and tidy the showroom, ensuring all samples & materials are returned to the relevant location
  • Support Product Team in Showroom setup for key business presentations
