Description

The Product Development Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Product Development team to deliver innovative, best-in-class products from concept through to launch. They coordinate samples, testing, supplier communication, and project administration to ensure projects remain organised and key milestones are achieved.

In addition to supporting Core NPD, support will be required across shade extensions, accessories, secondary packaging, and sample developments.

The position requires strong organisation, proactive communication, hands-on testing support, and the ambition to develop the technical and project management skills needed to progress within Product Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of NPD + EPD projects and ensure actions, samples, costings, and timelines meet launch targets and remain on track.
  • Build strong relationships and deliver clear briefs to suppliers and internal stakeholders, communicating progress clearly and escalating risks where needed.
  • Coordinate supplier communication, sample shipments, artwork, and project updates to keep projects progressing efficiently.
  • Support with product testing across key markets, coordinating MUAs, testers, and models.
  • Use customer feedback and community insights to inform product development, benchmarking, and shade creation.
  • Research product, consumer, and market trends to contribute to concept development and NPD direction.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication and strong relationship-building skills across suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Passion for beauty, innovation, and product development.
  • 1-2 years previous experience within Product Development preferable.
