Based in the City of Bristol, the brand is known for meticulous craftsmanship, with designs created by Founder Fleur from initial hand sketches to bespoke embroidery, then carefully produced by partners in Portugal. The company has received multiple fashion and business awards and enjoys international recognition for its leading designs and superior fit.
Fleur of England is available in 17 countries, stocked in over 50 luxury department stores and boutiques, and sold through its own online store. The brand is dedicated to building an inclusive, empowering community and offering a refined, detail-focused shopping experience.
Role Description
The Product Development Assistant is a part-time role, which is expected to grow to full-time with the business's planned growth. On-site role based in the City of Bristol.

This team member supports the end-to-end product development process, from initial concept through to production, working closely with design, digital, and merchandising. Daily tasks include:

- Coordinating samples
- Maintaining product specifications and documentation
- Tracking timelines
- Ensuring that new styles meet quality, fit, and brand standards
The role involves assisting with market and trend research, preparing materials for internal reviews, and liaising with suppliers and manufacturing partners to keep projects on schedule. The Product Development Assistant also helps analyze product performance, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to the creation of collections that reflect Fleur of England’s commitment to luxury, inclusivity, and craft.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management skills to support collections from concept to launch.
- Solid Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to interpret data, understand trends, and inform product decisions.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of or interest in luxury fashion, lingerie, or nightwear, with attention to fit, fabric, and construction.
- Excellent organization, time management, and detail orientation, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project management software).
- Relevant education or experience in product development, fashion design, merchandising, or a related field.
- Commitment to inclusivity, quality, and customer experience, aligning with Fleur of England’s brand values.
