Emmi Desserts UK has four bakeries in the UK and we have an amazing opportunity at our site in Maidenhead where we make amazing cakes and desserts for the food service industry.
A Development Chef's Role
A development chef's role offers the opportunity to let your creative juices run wild and help create amazing sweet treats for coffee shops, restaurants and cafes.
Working with the NPD team, the successful candidate will help to create new recipes whilst also looking at how to make our existing amazing products even better.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the NPD team to develop new recipes.
- Enhance existing products.
- Conduct bakery trials and oversee the scaling up of products.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, restaurant, or development, ideally in patisserie.
- A professional baking or patisserie qualification.
- A natural passion for food, especially baking.
- Highly organised and able to manage your own workload.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and start on new projects.
- Good IT skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information
- There is no sponsorship available for this role. Candidates must have unrestricted valid right to work in the UK.

Salary
Circa £35,000, subject to experience
