Product Development Engineer
A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Product Development Engineer to join their global team. Located in Milton Keynes, this permanent role involves hands-on engineering, product design, testing, and customer support. The company specializes in innovative product solutions with a focus on practical application.
Product Development Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products utilizing CAD tools, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Assemble and evaluate prototypes through hands-on methods in workshop or field settings.
- Facilitate product installation, testing, and validation at various customer and supplier sites.
- Operate and manage fabrication and testing equipment aligned with product requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready designs and support sales efforts.

Product Development Engineer Qualifications:
- Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent in Mechanical, Product Design Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical engineering or manufacturing experience gained through relevant roles or apprenticeships.
- Proven ability to develop and launch innovative, functional products.
- Skilled in technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and change notices.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for installations, meetings, and supplier visits.
