About the Job

As a Product Development Engineer you will be instrumental in conceiving, designing, and implementing new products and technologies, leveraging cutting-edge advancements to enhance the company's competitive edge.

Your role involves a focus on research, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to fruition within the manufacturing environment.

About your responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance Ensure that products conform to design specifications and comply with regulatory standards maintaining adherence to quality and safety.
  • Customer Specification Interpretation Review and interpret customer specifications to determine appropriate designs necessary to meet specific requirements.
  • Drawing Preparation Prepare various drawings to define the configuration of the product.
  • Design Data Preparation Prepare Design Data to facilitate the manufacturing of prototypes and production.
  • Product Qualification Testing Define and issue test requests for product qualification ensuring products meet performance requirements.
  • Accuracy of Design Data Ensure that Design Data provided to Process Development/Production is accurate, up-to-date, and enables the efficient manufacturing.
  • Documentation Management Prepare documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer audits, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Technology Development Develop new technologies, including the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and innovative materials.
  • Continuous Improvement Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes, incorporating feedback and implementing best practices.
  • Quality Assurance Ensure that product development activities meet specified quality standards and comply with regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Innovation Implementation Actively contribute to the implementation of innovative technologies and materials in product development processes, enhancing the company's technological capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate seamless integration of product designs into manufacturing processes.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in product development, preferably within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating a track record of successful project completion.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technologies such as CAD and FEA for product design and analysis.
