Are you looking for a product development role where you can genuinely influence what gets made?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of new physical consumer products from the initial idea and commercial case through to sourcing, sampling, packaging and production. You'll join a fast-growing UK beauty brand expanding its range across digital and international retail channels.

About NYK1

NYK1 is a UK beauty brand specialising in nail care, skincare, haircare, and lash and brow care. We have built significant digital success through Amazon and, in 2026, began working with major US retailers as part of our international expansion.

We are now looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to help grow our product range, sales and reach across both digital and in-store channels.

The opportunity

This is a hands-on role with considerable ownership. You'll identify promising product opportunities, develop them with suppliers and build the commercial case for bringing them to market.

You'll work closely with the internal team and directors, using competitor research, product quality, pricing and commercial viability to help decide which products should move forward.

What you'll own

  • Identify new product opportunities by monitoring the market, reviewing competitors and making recommendations about what NYK1 should develop next.
  • Develop products from initial concept through to production-ready specifications.
  • Manage samples, materials, packaging, costs and quality throughout the development process.
  • Work directly with factories and suppliers to keep development moving.
  • Own the unit economics of each product, including landed cost, margin and selling price.
  • Build and present the commercial case for new products to the directors.
  • Manage timelines and quality through to reliable, repeatable production.
  • Receive and assess samples and competitor products at the West Yorkshire office.
  • Maintain clear product records and flag risks or delays at an early stage.
  • Support improvements and extensions to the existing product range.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
