Job Summary We’re expanding the human-facing layer of a platform at the crossroads of AI, automation, and frontier science—bridging complex scientific workflows with the tools scientists rely on daily. This product is live internally and is scaling rapidly into smarter, more agile workflows.
What you’ll own:
- Full new product surfaces aligned with emerging requirements in bioscience, robotics, and AI—while enhancing existing features.
- The integration bridge between embodied-AI/ML, LLM capabilities, and core data/platform systems.
- End-to-end features from concept to instrumented user experience, empowering scientists directly.
Product and engineering audiences converge. As your primary surface is your frontend, you’ll bridge teams across codebase, APIs, and real-time flows. Ship long-term and independent while delivering seamless UX and robustness.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product features, from hypothesis to shipped, real-world solutions used daily by scientists.
- Architekt application-layer technology – frontend state, API contracts, and real-time data patterns – weaving strengths for teams already in use.
- Ramp quickly into live workflows, balancing new feature need alongside system hardening and refinement.
- Coordinate across many teams (ML, AI Research, Platform, Data Engineering): enable clarity even when requirements are fluid and prototype early, iterate fast.
- Query ill-defined problems into practical scope, putting the product in front of real scientists as soon gain feedback.
- Protect scalability and reliability—raw data’s richness mustn’t sacrifice reproducibility or lineage.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a product/software engineer, especially in high pace, user-facing products.
- Architected full-stack systems with frontend as primary surface, damping APIs/data flows all the way to the user. Primary languages in your toolbelt: TypeScript/JavaScript + React.
- Organizes without micromanagement. Crafts scope, cuts ambiguous problems, explains trade-offs approaching product AND engineering constraints awareness.
- Partners across disciplines—proactively identify blockers, resolve tension; asks clarifying questions before requirements freeze.
