What makes this different?
This isn't a traditional Backend / Frontend role.
You’ll be expected to:
- ⚡ Own problems end-to-end
- 🦀 Build high-performance systems in Rust + TypeScript
- 🤖 Work with AI agents, LLMs & AI-native tooling
- 🚀 Ship incredibly quickly using tools like Cursor + Claude Code
- 🧠 Solve genuinely difficult systems, performance & infrastructure problems
- 🎯 Shape the product, architecture and engineering culture from the ground up
They’re looking for:
- Exceptional technical ability / top-centile engineering talent (strong academic or competitive programming background)
- Experience with low-level, high-performance or complex systems (C++ or Rust backgrounds ideally)
- Engineers who thrive on autonomy and ambiguity
- Startup, systems, AI tooling or competitive programming experience is a huge plus
