What Makes us Different

The One World platform connects organisations, products, processes and data across global trade. Our highly configurable, no-code technology creates a single source of truth that enables businesses to collaborate more effectively, improve visibility, and manage increasingly complex supply chains with confidence.

By turning fragmented data into meaningful insight, we help organisations navigate sustainability, compliance and operational challenges while building more efficient, resilient and sustainable supply chains for the benefit of people, planet and profit.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of our customers, Product and Software Engineering teams, turning real-world business needs into effective, scalable solutions on the One World platform.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll own customer-facing implementations from discovery through to production. You’ll combine Technical problem-solving and software development to translate requirements into executable workflows, platform configurations and technical solutions.

You’ll:

  • Partner with customers, Product and Software Engineering to understand business objectives, model processes, refine requirements and establish clear acceptance criteria.
  • Own implementations from discovery and solution design through build and configuration, testing, deployment, onboarding, UAT and production handover.
  • Build and maintain internal tooling and platform extensions using technologies including Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js and APIs.
  • Work with data, schema mapping, SQL and system integrations to connect processes and systems effectively.
  • Design and implement automated functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing within our delivery pipelines.
  • Build and manage GitHub Actions pipelines and support deployments across multiple environments, helping make releases reliable, repeatable and traceable.
  • Investigate and resolve complex operational and technical issues using a structured approach to troubleshooting, documentation and escalation.
  • Contribute to the design of new workflows, platform capabilities and defect fixes.
  • Work directly with customers during demonstrations, onboarding and UAT, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Help create reusable implementation standards, tooling and ways of working that continuously improve how we deliver for our customers.

You’ll have real ownership of the solutions you deliver and visible influence over our platform, customer experience and delivery outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking for from You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with an ability to understand processes, solve problems and take ownership of delivery.

This is a strong mid-level to senior opportunity, so we’re looking for someone comfortable operating independently and making sound decisions in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

To thrive in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience building, integrating, testing and troubleshooting production-quality tooling or platform extensions.
  • Experience developing or working with products using React, Next.js, Material UI and React Query.
  • Experience working with APIs, Java, Spring Boot, SQL/Postgres, data and schema mapping, and system integrations.
  • Experience with YAML, JSON and JSONata.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment automation, particularly GitHub Actions.
  • Experience designing automated functional, integration, regression or end-to-end tests and incorporating these into delivery pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with a structured approach to investigating and resolving complex issues.
  • The ability to translate ambiguous customer processes and requirements into clear, executable technical solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical concepts to customers and non-technical stakeholders.
  • The confidence to take ownership of outcomes and work independently within an ambiguous, cross-functional SaaS delivery environment.
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform and authentication or identity technologies such as Auth0, OAuth 2.0 or SAML would also be beneficial.

Don’t worry if you don’t have everything on this list. We firmly believe in the power of hiring passionate people who are keen to learn. So, if our business and the opportunity sound of interest to you, please get in touch!
