Product Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in United Kingdom.

Join a fast-growing AI environment where you’ll have genuine ownership over a product used by more than 2 million registered users. You’ll work directly with the founder to shape what gets built, how it looks and feels, and how it reaches users from idea through release. The role combines frontend craftsmanship with backend engineering, giving you influence across the full product experience. You’ll help evolve an AI-powered platform that transforms images and text into ready-to-use 3D models and supports increasingly sophisticated business workflows. With a high degree of autonomy and minimal bureaucracy, you’ll be encouraged to identify opportunities, make decisions, and move ideas into production. Strong engineering and product instincts matter most, with support available as you develop your understanding of the 3D domain.

Accountabilities:

  • Own product features from initial idea through design, implementation, and release, taking initiative rather than relying on detailed specifications.
  • Build polished, intuitive, and refined user interfaces using Next.js, representing approximately 60% of the role.
  • Develop and maintain backend functionality using Django and PostgreSQL, representing approximately 40% of the role.
  • Integrate third-party AI model APIs and help turn emerging AI capabilities into practical product experiences.
  • Maintain and improve servers and platform reliability while handling significant volumes of user data.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of UX and UI quality, paying attention to details such as interactions, animations, visual polish, and overall usability.
  • Learn and contribute to the product’s 3D workflows, including how models, formats, and pipelines work.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for new features and improvements based on user needs and product potential.
  • Use AI-powered coding tools as part of your daily workflow to increase productivity while maintaining engineering quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
