Building a More Resilient World
At ClaimSorted, we're building a more resilient world - one where people and businesses have the confidence to pursue bigger opportunities. We're doing this by transforming how insurance delivers on its most important promise: helping people and businesses recover when things go wrong.
The world's largest insurers and Fortune 500 companies work with us to handle claims and manage risk more efficiently, so they - and the people they protect - can move forward with confidence.
Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo, we grew 10x in the past year - and we're just getting started.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Engineer // AI to build the automations that turn claims handling into something the industry has never had: fast, reliable, and actually built for the volume insurance runs at.
You'll find the automation nobody else saw - liaise with claims handlers, watch where the process actually breaks down, and turn what you learn into the feature that fixes it. Not a backlog ticket — your idea, built and shipped.
You'll build agents that are actually used, every single day - full-stack, end-to-end, deployed into production where they're doing real work on real claims, not sitting in a demo. Most engineers wait years before their AI systems touch anything real. You'll do it from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You'll own the risk, not just the code - work shoulder-to-shoulder with AI engineers and ops to make sure what you ship is bulletproof, then keep pushing it further as the system scales. This is the difference between building something clever and building something that lasts.
We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, office-based role in our London office. We're a high-intensity team and often put in significant time and effort, because we believe great outcomes come from doing the work well.
Who You Are
We care more about hunger and grit than years on a resume. You might come from a product engineering background, an AI/ML team shipping real features, or a startup where you've had to own things end-to-end.
- Comfortable working directly with users to find real opportunities - you don't wait for a spec, you go find out what's actually slow or broken
- Genuine understanding of agentic AI systems - you know how to design AI that takes real actions, not just answers questions
- Fast, capable full-stack builder - you can take a feature from idea to production without waiting on someone else to unblock you
- Obsessive about correctness and risk - you think about what happens when an automation is wrong, not just when it's right
