Product Engineer - Remote (United Kingdom)
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to build impactful product experiences within a fast-moving, remote-first engineering team.
You will work across the full product lifecycle, transforming ideas and prototypes into polished, customer-facing solutions.
The position combines strong engineering skills, product thinking, and close collaboration with design and product teams.
You will contribute to AI-powered tools, knowledge management experiences, and modern software platforms used by teams worldwide.
The role encourages ownership, experimentation, and the ability to solve complex problems with creativity and precision.

Accountabilities:
- As a Product Engineer, you will take ownership of building and improving product experiences from initial concepts to production-ready solutions.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, intuitive, and high-quality features while contributing to continuous engineering improvement.
- Build new product features end-to-end, from rapid prototypes to scalable production implementations.
- Develop and enhance AI-powered product capabilities by integrating new data sources, tools, and workflows.
- Extend product interfaces with new components, functionality, and user experiences.
- Create complex React-based interfaces that are performant, reliable, maintainable, and well tested.
- Bring product capabilities to new platforms and experiences, including browser extensions, desktop tools, and automated communication channels.
- Work closely with product and design teams to translate ambiguous ideas into effective solutions.
- Contribute to engineering practices that improve reliability, collaboration, and delivery speed.
- Participate in technical discussions, pairing sessions, operational improvements, and initiatives that enhance customer experience.

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is an experienced product-focused engineer who combines strong technical fundamentals with a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, owning projects independently, and making thoughtful engineering decisions.
- Strong experience building modern web applications and customer-facing products.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React development.
- Experience designing and implementing complex user interfaces and interactive experiences.
- Ability to work across frontend and backend systems to deliver complete product solutions.
- Strong product mindset with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into practical solutions.
- Experience working with modern backend technologies such as Node.js, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AI-powered applications, data integrations, or workflow automation is a plus.
- Experience with technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, or similar platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within remote, cross-functional teams.
