Location: London (4 days a week in the office) · Salary: circa £100k · Full-time
We're hiring 2x Product Engineer who wants to own real problems end to end, not pick up tickets.
The company We're working with a small, high-bar engineering team in London. Series-funded, growing, and past the point of proving the product works. Now it's about building fast without the wheels coming off.
- The team is small enough that what you ship this week is in front of users next week.
- No layers, no committees, no waiting three sprints for a decision.
The role You'll work across a TypeScript and React frontend and a Node backend, with Python and Go elsewhere in the stack. We're leaning backend for this one, but if your instinct is frontend and you can hold your own on the backend, we want to talk.

Why 4 days in the office Because speed. The team ships fast, and the fastest way to unblock a decision is to turn around and ask the person next to you. Tight feedback loops, less waiting, more shipping. We're upfront about it so nobody's surprised: this is an in-person team, four days a week in London.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building and shipping software that real people use
- Strong TypeScript, and comfortable in a Node backend
- A track record of owning things end to end, not just closing tickets
- Good judgment about what to build and what to skip
- Someone who talks to users and lets that shape the code

Nice to have
- SC clearance (or eligible to get it)
- DevOps experience: CI/CD, infra, keeping the lights on
- Python or Go in your background
None of these are dealbreakers. If you've got the core and one of these, you're in good shape.
The process
- Intro call with Ethiq (30 mins)
- Technical conversation with the team
- Paid trial day
- Final round with the founders (on the trial day)
