Product Engineer
We’re looking for a Product Engineer to build and ship products with our team.
This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering.
You’ll take ideas from problem → product → design → code → launch → iteration. You’ll help understand user needs, shape product experiences, build the technology behind them, and ship products to real users.
This is a remote-first, high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building from zero to one.
What you’ll do
- Take products from idea to launch
- Understand user problems and turn them into simple product solutions
- Help define what we should build and why
- Design product flows, interfaces, and user experiences
- Prototype ideas quickly and validate them
- Build frontend and backend systems
- Develop applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB
- Build APIs and integrate AI models, payments, and third-party services
- Make technical and product decisions independently
- Work closely with product, design, and other engineers
- Talk to users and use feedback to improve products
- Use product data and user behavior to guide iterations
- Deploy, monitor, debug, and maintain production applications
- Continuously improve products after launch
- Own projects from problem definition to shipped product

What we’re looking for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills
- Experience with React and/or Next.js
- Experience with Node.js and backend development
- Experience building and shipping production products
- Good understanding of APIs, databases, and web architecture
- Strong product thinking and user empathy
- Good eye for design and user experience
- Comfortable creating prototypes and simple product flows
- Comfortable working across the stack
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong sense of ownership
- Someone who cares about the product, not just the code
- Someone who enjoys building from zero to one

Nice to have
- Experience building AI/LLM products
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD
- Experience with payments, queues, caching, or background jobs
- Experience building consumer products
- Experience with product analytics
- Experience conducting user interviews or usability testing
- Strong personal projects
- Open-source contributions
