About Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The Role

This company builds the control plane for data and AI workflows, used in production by leading enterprises. They're tackling a critical problem: giving data teams the infrastructure to build, monitor, and trust their AI pipelines. Backed by leading VCs, they've quickly built a significant community and recently launched a new product for AI agents.

This isn't a frontend role where you're handed specs. You'll own the core frontend from concept to production, shipping multiple times daily. You'll work directly with users, shaping the roadmap based on their needs. This is a seat in a small, generalist engineering team where frontend is your starting point, not your ceiling. Expect to expand into backend and infrastructure, with immediate impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Work

  • Own the core frontend (React, TypeScript, Storybook), driving features from idea through to production.
  • Work directly with users to identify pain points and shape the product roadmap.
  • Expand your scope into backend and infrastructure work over time.
  • Ship code to production multiple times a day, with a guaranteed focus on tech debt.

What You Bring

  • Deep expertise in React: you've pushed its limits, made architectural decisions, and understand its underlying patterns.
  • A portfolio of shipped projects or an active GitHub presence. Your creations matter more than your credentials.
  • Comfort working in a cloud environment, with a strong desire to learn or expand into Python/backend.
  • A bias for shipping: you prioritize impact over perfection and build relationships with your users.
  • You see frontend as your current strength, not your permanent home, and want to grow across the stack.
