Product Engineer - United Kingdom
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in the United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to build innovative products at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and decentralized science.
You will transform emerging AI capabilities into practical applications that help users explore complex health and biological data.
The position combines engineering execution, product thinking, and rapid experimentation to bring ideas from concept to deployed MVPs.
You will work closely with a technical team focused on advancing AI-driven research while owning the user-facing experiences that bring these systems to life.
This is an ideal opportunity for a versatile full-stack engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and shipping impactful products quickly.
You will have significant autonomy, influence product direction, and contribute to technologies shaping the future of personalized health and scientific discovery.
Accountabilities
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for rapidly designing, building, and launching user-facing applications that connect advanced AI capabilities with real-world use cases. You will bridge the gap between complex technical systems and intuitive user experiences while driving product experimentation and delivery.
- Build and deploy user-facing MVPs quickly, using an iterative approach to validate ideas and measure user value.
- Develop applications and product experiences that make AI-powered tools accessible and useful for end users.
- Create integrations and connectors for external data sources, including health platforms, electronic health records, and biological databases.
- Translate complex and non-deterministic AI outputs into clear, intuitive, and actionable user interfaces.
- Prototype new product concepts, test assumptions with users, and rapidly refine solutions based on feedback.
- Take ownership of application development while enabling the core technical team to focus on AI reasoning capabilities.
- Work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture decisions to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Navigate technical uncertainty and build practical solutions when working with evolving technologies and incomplete requirements.
- Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to identify opportunities and create meaningful user experiences.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a product-minded full-stack engineer who enjoys building quickly, experimenting with new technologies, and solving complex user problems. You should combine strong engineering skills with curiosity, creativity, and a focus on delivering products that create real value.
- Proven experience building and launching products that are actively used by customers or end users.
- Strong full-stack engineering capabilities with a particular focus on frontend development and user experience.
- Ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver production-ready applications.
- Experience integrating with complex, inconsistent, or undocumented APIs and external data sources.
- Strong product intuition with a focus on solving user needs rather than purely technical challenges.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with changing priorities and rapid iteration cycles.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Experience building interfaces for AI or machine learning systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare APIs, health data platforms, fitness tracking systems, or personal analytics tools is valued.
- Strong interest in biology, health technology, AI, or emerging scientific applications is a plus.
- Background in design or strong UI/UX skills is beneficial.
