THE ROLE
An early-stage, venture-backed AI SaaS business is hiring a product-minded Full Stack Engineer to build customer-facing functionality from the ground up. This is a genuine early-stage product environment — you'll work directly with the founders, commercial team and customers, taking features from an initial idea through to something live in production. You won't just be handed tickets; you'll help decide what gets built, how it works, and how the product evolves off the back of real customer feedback. Ideal for someone who wants far more ownership than they'd get inside a larger engineering org.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
A venture-backed AI software company building an AI-native platform that transforms how B2B businesses build, manage and grow commercial partnerships — helping them identify relevant partners, make introductions, keep relationships active and manage the full partnership lifecycle through to attribution and payment. Fresh off a $1.6m pre-seed raise led by a specialist technology investor alongside established early-stage VC backing, with the capital going heavily into product development and expanding the core AI platform. Still early enough that individual engineers make a real impact.

THE FULL STACK PRODUCT ENGINEER ROLE
- Building and shipping full-stack product features across Node.js, TypeScript and React
- Taking features from concept through development, deployment and iteration
- Working directly with founders, commercial teams and customers to understand real-world requirements
- Turning customer feedback into practical product improvements
- Helping shape technical and product decisions as the platform develops
- Building integrations and APIs that connect the platform with other commercial systems
- Contributing to an increasingly AI-native product
- Improving engineering standards, reliability and scalability as the customer base grows

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong frontend development experience with React
- Experience building full-stack, customer-facing web applications
- Previous experience in a startup or scale-up environment
- A track record of taking products or significant features from idea to production
- Confidence working directly with customers, founders or commercial stakeholders
- Strong product instincts — an interest in why something should be built, not just how
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and taking significant ownership
Experience with AI/LLM functionality, B2B SaaS, workflow products, integrations or commercial/CRM technology is a real bonus, but not essential.
