Product Engineer | AI-First (Full Stack) | Hybrid - London

I'm working exclusively with an exciting, sustainable B2C challenger that's building its engineering team around one premise: AI should be the primary execution layer for software development.

They're looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer to join a small, high-impact engineering team. This is a genuinely AI-first development environment where AI is central to how the team builds and iterates on software. You'll use AI to accelerate development, direct it effectively, review its output and continuously improve the process.

They're less concerned with whether you've used a particular framework and much more interested in strong engineering fundamentals, product thinking, good judgement, pace and the ability to adapt to a fundamentally different way of building software.

The role

  • Build and iterate on customer-facing products, APIs and internal tooling
  • Work across the stack in a primarily TypeScript environment, with exposure to software and mobile development including React Native
  • Use AI as the primary execution mechanism to build, test and iterate on software
  • Work with Claude and modern AI-assisted development workflows
  • Break down customer and business problems into clear, actionable specifications that AI can execute against
  • Review, test and challenge AI-generated code against requirements and architectural intent
  • Feed learnings back into the development process to continually improve how the team works with AI
  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability and platform reliability
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve developer experience
  • Take ownership from understanding the problem through to shipping and validating the solution
  • Work closely with product, engineering and wider business teams to understand problems and shape solutions
  • Bring strong software engineering fundamentals, pragmatic judgement and a focus on outcomes rather than simply shipping code
  • Be comfortable learning new technologies, adapting to changing approaches and working across different areas of the stack
  • Bring genuine product thinking, curiosity and enthusiasm for solving customer problems
  • Communicate clearly, challenge assumptions and take ownership within a small, collaborative team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
